Multi-day Songbirds and other Winged Wonders of the St. Andrews Area and Quoddy Region

Songbirds, Seabirds, Raptors, Shorebirds, Residents, Migrants. The St. Andrews peninsula and environs provide a wonderful location to find, watch and identify up to 300+ species of birds. The diverse geography and landscapes of Charlotte County and the lower Bay of Fundy results in both passerine and aquatic bird habitat and feeding areas. You will spend time on the shore, in a marsh and a variety of woodland settings.


ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate You will be traversing a variety of terrain that may or may not have established footpaths. Sturdy footwear that is also appropriate for wet/muddy terrain is a necessity.


HIGHLIGHTS - Greenlaw Mountain to view Hawks and other raptors - Observing activities at the Huntsman Marine operated St. Andrews Bird Banding Station - Visiting numerous bird observation locales, including a cruise of Passamaquoddy Bay
